Sally moved to France in 2018 to live near her parents. She lives in Obterre, next to the ‘Le Guet de Chouette’ gîte, and goes to Châtillon-sur-Indre, near the ‘Le Guet de Garde’ gîte, part time, as she runs a dog grooming salon there called Happy Dog.
Sally is a welcoming and very attentive hostess, BUT discreet.
She will always be there if you need her, but will know how to keep completely out of the way if you don’t wish to bother her. In any case, she will always do her utmost to ensure that your stay in the Indre, in the heart of France, goes as smoothly as possible so that you take home fond memories of your time in this beautiful region.
Sally is passionate about animals, dogs in particular of course, but also about art, gardening, her vegetable patch and all the treasures offered by the flora and fauna of the French countryside. She is a down-to-earth, genuine and warm-hearted woman.

We had an excellent stay in a magical place, lulled by the birdsong. The cottage is very charming and perfectly equipped. We also appreciated the kindness of our host (Sally) and the evenings spent by the fire. We will definitely be back!

The cottage is beautiful with a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. Very clean and cosy, it is a particularly welcoming place. The bedding is also excellent and the nights are restful. Close to the zoological reserve and some beautiful castles/museums. Thank you, everything was very good, very beautiful and very clean. The garden was magnificent and very well laid out.

Very friendly welcome, the cottage is located in a very quiet area. The kitchen is very well equipped and clean, as is the rest of the house. Our dog was also very welcome.
